I keep a length of rope in my pack

so that I can save myself.

How can I look after anyone else,

if I can’t lasso my health?

Just pull me up the cliffs

after you’ve found all the foot holds you need,

and know that if I hadn’t thrown you my rope,

there’d be no future for me.
